April 2011 - Sonodyne widebander - South Korean driver supplier Sonodyne's portfolio includes these traditional wideband units whose diaphragms are built up from Hanji paper to apparently even include the gently pleated surround as one continuous assembly. Feastrex of Japan has earlier created a lot of attention for their very expensive Washi paper drivers. Perhaps here is a less costly alternative for DIYers to experiment with.
